Dubai-based proptech startup Huspy has raised an impressive $59 million in a Series B funding round, marking a significant milestone in its journey to transform the real estate industry. The round was led by existing investor Balderton Capital, with participation from Peak XV, signaling strong confidence in Huspy’s vision and growth potential.
Founded by Jad Antoun, Huspy aims to streamline the home-buying process in the UAE by digitizing the traditionally cumbersome experience of securing mortgages and navigating property listings. Since its inception, the company has addressed challenges like excessive paperwork and price discrepancies, offering a seamless platform for buyers.
With this fresh capital, Huspy plans to double down on its operations across the Middle East and accelerate its expansion into Europe. The startup already has a presence in Spain, operating in six new cities, and is eyeing further growth in the region to solidify its international footprint.
Huspy also has ambitious plans to launch in Saudi Arabia, with expectations to operate in over 10 cities by the end of 2025. This strategic move aligns with the growing demand for digital real estate solutions in the Middle East and beyond.
The funding comes on the heels of Huspy’s earlier $37 million Series A round in 2022, backed by Sequoia Capital India and Founders Fund. This latest investment underscores the increasing investor interest in proptech solutions that address inefficiencies in the property market.
